Questions & answers

What makes us different?: South's FBLA offers opportunities for students to attend workshops, conferences and trips that further individual's business connections and networking. Additionally, FBLA is committed to serving the community to make positive impacts of change. Members can also achieve business badges for virtual modules and showcase their learning by competing in nationally recognized competitions.
What are the requirements?: You must be currently enrolled in a business or business related course that meets FBLA requirements.
What business courses qualify?: See the district list of approved business courses: Required Courses.
What day do we meet?: FBLA will meet on Wednesdays from 3-4pm for general meetings. However committees can choose to work on additional days when necessary.
How much time does it take?: General meetings are every Wednesday from 3–4 PM. Committee work and competition prep are self-paced and scale up before regionals.
Can I join mid-year?: No, registration forms and committee lead applications will be due in September/October.
How much are dues?: Dues cover national, state, and school fees to maintain the chapter. A yearly fee of $20.00 per student must be submitted with your application for membership.
